How to connect

The league reads your results through a small EA that you run in your own MetaTrader 5. Here is the setup, step by step. The kit's README.txt has the same steps.

Read-only. The EA never trades and never needs your MT5 password. It only reports account details, equity and deals.

  1. Step 1: Get your key and the kit

    Join, then open My league › Accounts. Enter your MT5 account number and pick Demo or Live. You get an EA key (starts with fxp_) and a signing secret (starts with fxs_). They are shown once, so store them. Then download the connection kit.

  2. Step 2: Copy the two files into MT5

    In MetaTrader 5 choose File › Open Data Folder, then open MQL5 › Experts. Copy both files from the kit into that folder.

  3. Step 3: Compile the EA

    Open the Navigator (Ctrl+N), right-click Expert Advisors and choose Refresh. Double-click PremiershipTracker to open it in MetaEditor and press F7.

  4. Step 4: Allow the league address

    Tools › Options › Expert Advisors: tick “Allow WebRequest for listed URL” and add https://fxpremiership.com.

  5. Step 5: Attach it to one chart

    Drag PremiershipTracker onto one chart only. It watches the whole account, every symbol. In the Inputs tab paste your EA key and signing secret; the server address is already filled in.

  6. Step 6: Check it is connected

    Open My league › Accounts. Within a minute the account shows Connected, and you appear on the table once the week is running.

What the EA sends

  • On start: account number, server, broker, currency, trade mode (demo, contest or real), leverage and EA version.
  • Every 10 seconds, and when equity moves 0.01 % or more: balance, equity, margin, floating P/L, open positions.
  • Your deals as they happen, plus a history backfill on start. Deposits and withdrawals come from the same history.

The public table shows only your nickname, country, crest, badges and numbers, never your account number, server or broker.

Good to know

  • Demo and contest accounts play in Demo, real-money accounts in Live. A key only works in its own division.
  • The key works only for the MT5 account it was issued for. If it leaks, press “New key” on your accounts page.
  • Keep MT5 running during the week. A gap of more than 60 minutes without reports means that week is not ranked.
